Knight, Lola B., Saginaw, Michigan


Passed away peacefully at the Masonic Pathways in Alma, MI on Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at the age of 91 years. Lola (Stacey) Knight was born on November 17, 1921, in Saginaw, to the late Charles and Lola (Burns) Stacey. She was married to Ralph F. Knight on April 19, 1958, in Bridgeport, and he predeceased her on September 28, 1992. Prior to her retirement in 1961, Lola was employed at the Chevrolet / Grey Iron Foundry as a stenographer. She was a member of Countryside Trinity Church serving as both Deacon and Elder, also active in women’s association; life member and past Matron of Eastern Star, Martha Washington Chapter #113 O.E.S. Surviving are her son and his wife, David (Geri) Knight, Jenison, MI; her grandchildren, Emily Knight, Kentwood; Trevor Knight and Mallory, Jenison, and her great-grandson, Easton, several nieces and nephews and many dear friends. She was predeceased by one sister and three brothers. Lola’s Funeral will take place on Monday, May 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Countryside Trinity Church, 4690 Weiss. Rev. Ken Parker will officiate. Private burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of her service.
