Gulick, June Marie, Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2013. Age 91 years. The daughter of the late Frank and Nora (Dower) Smith, June was born June 22, 1921 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Kenneth J. Gulick in October 27, 1951. He predeceased her March 21, 1970. She was a past active member of Ss. Simon and Jude for many years and was recently attending St. John Vianney Catholic Church. June enjoyed spending time with friends and family, bowling, playing bingo and was an all-around outgoing person. She was also an avid Detroit Tiger fan. Time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the most important moments of her life. Surviving are four daughters and their spouses, Roxanne and Ed Usewick, Grand Blanc; Denise and Bill Kenny, Saginaw; Jeannine and Scott Cook, Glasgow, Kentucky; Robin and Dave Daly, Cincinnati, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. June was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Bentley Usewick, and by two brothers and three sisters, Joseph Smith, Gladys Kniebbe, Shirley Maturen, Patricia Reardon and Gerald Smith. June’s family extends their appreciation and gratitude to Magnum Care and its staff for the compassionate care they provided. Funeral Liturgy will take place on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 6400 McCarty Road, in Saginaw. Rev. Fr. James Carlson will officiate with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Friday from 2:00-8:00 p.m. and at St. John Vianney Catholic Church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass.
