Graham, Frances M., Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved mother and grandmother passed away Friday, November 15, 2013 at St. Mary’s of Michigan Medical Center. Age 92 years. The daughter of the late John and Grace (Ciaramitaro) Grillo, Frances was born September 11, 1921 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Robert E. Graham on April 21, 1945. He predeceased her October 22, 1998. Frances was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Sons of Italy Sacra Famiglia Lodge #2456 and the “Grandma Poker Club”. Frances enjoyed gardening and her charity work. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Surviving are four daughters, Grace Kehrer, Fort Worth, Texas; Kathleen Haucke-Schmidtke and her husband Gary Schmidtke, Charlevoix; Frances and Michael Farrell, Boyne City; Roberta and Ron Clifford, Lake Havisu, Arizona; nine grandchildren, Michele (Pete) Schaller, Mike (Stacy) Farrell, Matthew (Lynnlee) Farrell, Jason Haucke, Jillian Brooks, Jaime (Markus) Moberg, Tracy (Danny) Henry, Nicole (Marcos) Norona, Brooke (Mark) Queen; 20 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one great-great-great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews; Frances’ loving extended family, Robert and Carla Paetz. Frances was preceded in death by a grandson, Robert A. Burbank, by her sister and best friend Grace Prezzato, and by five brothers, Mike, Tony, Charles, Phillip and Dominic Grillo. Frances’ family extends their gratitude and appreciation to New Hope Valley Assisted and Memory Care Home for the loving and compassionate care they provided. Funeral Liturgy will take place on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. John R. Johnson will officiate with entombment in Roselawn Memorial Mausoleum. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Wednesday from 2:00-8:00 p.m. and at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass. There will be a Vigil Service at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Ss.
