Curnutt, Leah O. (Walton), Saginaw, Michigan

Passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at Covenant-Cooper. Age 87 years. The daughter of the late Cynthia (Sanger) and Lee Thompson was born August 1, 1925 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Willis Dale Curnutt, June 30, 1952. He passed away September 30, 1984. She volunteered as a caregiver with Hospice. Her greatest love were children and pets and she was known for her infectious laugh and wonderful smile. Surviving are two sons and their wives, Gil L. and Mary Walton; Roy A. and Jean Walton, all of Saginaw; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. A son, Edward Walton, a grandson, Michael Walton, and three brothers have predeceased her. The funeral service will take place on Friday, April 5, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 409 Adams St. Rev. Donald Dinninger will officiate with burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel from 11:00 a.m. Friday until the time of the funeral service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the Children’s Zoo at Celebration Square, the Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum or the Saginaw County Humane Society.
