Cronk Sr., David Paul “Pete”, Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Covenant HealthCare Cooper Campus. Age 84 years. Son of the late John and Gladys (Bell) Cronk, David was born July 15, 1928 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Annabelle Dupuis on August 13, 1949. She survives him. David was employed at Eaton Manufacturing as a machinist. He was a member of St. Dominic Savio Traditional Catholic Church. Pete was a former member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and past president of Sacred Heart Society. He was also involved with the Cub Scouts of America, enjoyed hunting, fishing and the casino’s. Surviving besides his wife Annabelle are two daughters and four sons, David Cronk Jr. and his wife Marcia, Clare; Janet and Norman Baczkiewicz, Frederic; Thomas and Virginia Cronk, St. Charles; Judy and Gordon Guymer, Montrose; James Cronk, Saginaw; William and Toni Cronk, St. Charles; a son-in-law, Gary Guymer, Saginaw; 23 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren and two angels on the way; one brother, Vern Cronk, Hemlock; many nieces and nephews. Pete was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Guymer , one sister and four brothers. A private Funeral Liturgy will take place on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at St. Dominic Savio Traditional Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Daniel Ahern will officiate with private burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Friday from 2:00-8:00 p.m. The Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
