Campau, Diana L., Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away suddenly Friday, August 2, 2013. Age 70 years. The daughter of the late Edgar and Leora (Sally) Sallows Ballentine, Diana was born November 1, 1942 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Larry Siems who predeceased her November 5, 1981. Diana then married Duane Campau on January 28, 1984. He survives her. She was employed at Second National Bank for 27 years and retired as Assistant Vice-President. Diana generously supported the Rescue Mission, Underground Railroad and the local neo-natal units, where she knitted items for the new born babies. She enjoyed reading, gardening, sewing and cooking. Most of all, she loved time spent with family and friends. Diana always thought of others before herself. She was kind, loving and nurturing to everyone. Surviving besides her husband Duane are two daughters, Tricia and Wayne Symon, Jericho, Vermont; Shelly Bean, Warren, Rhode Island; two grandchildren, Max Bean and Jenna Symon; three step-children, Julie Partlow, Saginaw; Sandy and William Karl, Saginaw; Jim and Melissa Campau, Goshen, Indiana; five step-grandchildren, Ryan Partlow, Stephanie Hayward, Brett Karl, Brandon Karl, Derrik Campau; three step-great-grandchildren, Landon, Carter and Teagan; a sister, Sharon and Larry Dory, Freeland; several nieces and nephews. Honoring Diana’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place on Monday, August 5, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road (between Shattuck and McCarty). Rev. Paul Hinz will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home where the family will be present on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until time of service.
