Zwingman, Ida Ruth, Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother passed away Monday, November 26, 2012 at St. Maryís of Michigan Medical Center. Age 89 years. Daughter of the late Samuel and Estelle (Bierlein) Crampton, Ida was born April 2, 1923 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was married to Robert W. Zwingman on December 24, 1941. He predeceased her September 26, 1980. Ida was employed as a dietician at St. Maryís Hospital for 10 years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed sewing, quilt making and very involved with her family especially her grandchildren. Surviving are two daughters, two sons and their spouses, Pat and Ron Baumgartner, Saginaw; Robert W. and Ginger Zwingman Jr., Topinabee, Michigan; Ronald E. Zwingman, Saginaw; Diane and Tom LaVeque, AuGres, Michigan; 11 grandchildren, Ron and Terri Baumgartner, Debra Baumgartner, Susan and Darren Allen, Kris Radke, Ronald E. Zwingman Jr., Jeff and Katie Zwingman, Sandy and Fred Riedel, Tom and Nikki Zwingman, Amy and Todd McClung, Andrea and Chuck Salamon, Laura Passariello; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; one sister, Betty Loth, Saginaw; several nieces and nephews. Ida was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers. Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road (between Shattuck and McCarty). Pastor Phil DeVries will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home where the family will be present on Wednesday from 2:00-8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
