Woodman, Cheri Elaine (Hoffman), Clare, MI, Formerly of Saginaw, Michigan

Our beautiful sister and beloved aunt went to be with her Lord and our Savior, Friday, March 2, 2012 in her home, following a short illness. Age 62 years. She was born June 23, 1949, in Saginaw, MI, the daughter of the late Clarence E. and Thelma M. (Holloway) Hoffman. She was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School, Class of 1967. She received her Associate Degree in Liberal Arts from Mid-Michigan Community College in 1982. Cheri married Robert C. Hall, November 15, 1968. Her love for sewing led her to sew costumes for various theatrical productions at Mid-Michigan Community College. She resided in Midland and Farwell Michigan and Kokomo, IN. She accepted the Lord and continued her walk, attending seminars, retreats, serving as Church Secretary and Bible Study Leader for children and adults. Cheri moved to Saginaw, Michigan where she married Henry Woodman, September 5, 1999. He passed away in 2010. Surviving are three sisters, Diane Williams; Carol Hegyi, both of Clare, MI; Donna (David) Stanley, Lake Orion, MI. With no children of her own, she was influential in her nephews and nieces lives, guiding them to the Lord. Her nieces and nephews are Brian (Laura) Hoffman, Amy, Chris (Abby Snyder) Dana Hegyi, Adam, Amanda and Andrew Stanley; great niece, Ashley Grant, and a great nephew, Jackson Hoffman. A brother-in-law, Gale Williams, predeceased her in 2010. A memorial service will take place on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Rev. Gene Riley will officiate. Friends may call at the chapel from 2:00 p.m. Thursday until the time of the memorial service.
