Schramke, Beverly Jean (Boyle), Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away Friday, October 12, 2012 following a brief illness. Age 74 years. The daughter of the late Michael (Ray) Boyle and Ella (Scharlau) Boyle, Bev was born January 27, 1938 in Mason City, Iowa. She married Kenneth Schramke, her loving husband of 52 years, on August 13, 1960. He survives her. Bev graduated from Arthur Hill High School in 1956 and Central Michigan State College (now University) in 1960 with a teaching degree in Elementary Education and Art. Bev taught at Banner Elementary School for three years. Bev and Ken were founding members of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. She joined the Better Breathers Respiratory Support Group and was a great source of encouragement and joy to her group members. She leaves behind her husband Kenneth Schramke; two daughters, one son and their spouses, Jenai and Walt Kailey, Broomfield, Colorado; Julie Schramke and Bill Teeple, Saint Paul, Minnesota; Mark and Janet Schramke, Saginaw; six grandchildren, Sophia and Julian Teeple, Jeanne and Fran Kailey, Collin and Nathan Schramke; a brother Robert Boyle; a sister Patricia and Fred Savage; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral Liturgy will take place on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Thomas Schmied, O.F.M., Cap., will officiate. Interment will take place at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Wednesday from 2:00-8:00 p.m. and at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass.
