Richter, William Frederick, Spring Hill, FL, Formerly of Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle passed away Sunday, May 20, 2012, in Florida, following a brief illness. Age 60 years. He was born September 3, 1951, in Saginaw, the son of the late Eva Jane (Rounds) and Lawrence C. Richter. He graduated from Arthur Hill Tech in 1969. He retired from General Motors Flint V-8 Engine in 1999 after 31 years of service. He was a member of the Masons, the Elf Khurafeh Shrine, and had been Director Chex of the Shrine Clowns. He married Susan Simonetti on April 8, 1972; she survives him. They made their home in Florida the past seven years. Surviving besides his wife Susan are son Christopher and wife Krista (Ehlow) Richter and their children, Paige and Andrew, and son Anthony and wife Kimberly (Otto) Richter, and their son, due July 11, 2012, all of Saginaw; two sisters and their husbands, Bonnie and Mac Osborn; Betty and Gerry Parks; his mother-in-law, Virginia Simonetti; three brothers-in-law, four sisters-in-law and their spouses, Louis Jr. and Joanne Simonetti, Michael and Cynthia Simonetti, Diane and William Warnock, Dennis and Debbie Simonetti, Sandy and Brian Loiselle, Debra and Rob Beck, and Linda Simonetti; many beloved nieces and nephews, including his “birthday present”, Kaitlyn. He was predeceased by a sister and her husband, Barbara and Timothy Horstman, and by his father-in-law, Louis Simonetti Sr. Memorial services will take place on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at 2:00 p.m., at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, where his family will receive friends from noon Tuesday until the time of service. Rev. Rob Richards will officiate.
