Parker, Betty Jeane (Henry), Thomas Township, Michigan

Died peacefully, Saturday, July 21, 2012, at her home. Age 72 years. Betty was born July 21, 1940 in Hemlock, Michigan, the daughter of the late John E. Henry and Ruth E. Henry (Bell). She lived in Burton and Lapeer, with her final years in Saginaw. She was a teacher until the end and is gone but never forgotten. Surviving are her loving husband, James C. Parker, her children, Daniel E. Bare Jr.; Deanna J. Foster; Debra J. Cochran; her step-children, Matthew J. Parker; Sarah L. Parker; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; her sisters, Marvella (Henry) Witt; Ann (Henry) and John Atkinson; her brother, Duane Henry; a brother-in-law, Jerry Campbell; a sister-in-law and her husband, Virginia and Duane Bushey. She was predeceased by her parents and her son, Douglas J. Bare and a brother, Edward John Henry. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Road. Rev. Cecelie Adams will officiate with burial in Owen Cemetery. Friends may call at the Chapel from 1:00-9:00 p.m. Monday.
