Nigl, Dale B., Frankenmuth, Michigan

Beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital, Petoskey, Michigan. Age 60 years. Son of the late Louis Nigl and Lucy Olds, Dale was born October 4, 1951 in Saginaw, Michigan. He lived in Frankenmuth with his beloved Ann and dog, Tally. Dale was the owner and operator of Dale’s Plumbing Company and was a master plumber for 35 years. He was also former owner of King Louie’s Lounge in Bridgeport, Michigan. Dale enjoyed designing and constructing stage props for the Ann Herzberg Dance Studio. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling throughout Michigan and Florida and loved his family dearly. Surviving besides his sparkle, Ann are one daughter Kristi and Robert Szelewski, Tucson, Arizona; two step-daughters, Deann and Jeff Godi, Bay City; Shawne and Jeff Arthurton, Bay City; seven grandchildren; his sister, Glenda Kimmel; his brother, Phillip Nigl; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and great friends. Dale was preceded in death by two brothers, Duane and Kevin Nigl. Funeral Services will take place on Friday, August 31, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road (between Shattuck and McCarty). Rev. Fr. Robert DeLand will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
