Muttscheler, Joyce Ann (Guest), Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Monday, June 4, 2012, at the Cartwright Care Center. Age 73 years. Joyce Ann Guest was born May 16, 1939 in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of the late Mildred (Drouillard) and Marvin Guest. She held jobs in retail and service fields. She was a member of St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church. Joyce loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. Her other hobbies included shopping, her computer, where she kept in contact with many friends throughout the world via the internet, and Detroit Tigers Baseball. Joyce excelled in being a friend and people person. She had the wisdom and knowledge to share with anybody in need. She will truly be missed. She married Donald Muttscheler on August 1, 1964, in Saginaw, Michigan; he survives her. She is also survived by two daughters, Tammy and Ron Weighman; Kelly and Jim Kujawa; four grandchildren, Kyle Kujawa, Jarrid Weighman, Kaelyn Kujawa, and Kensey Kujawa; her beloved granddog, Skippy; her sister-in-law, Beverly Boynton; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and their families. She was predeceased by her beloved sister, Donna Reisig, who raised Joyce from childhood. Her family extends special thanks to Covenant Health Care Systems, VNA, VNA Hospice, especially the Cartwright Care Center and staff, and Dr. Teresa Pietrus and staff, for all of their loving care and support. Memorial services will take place on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, where her family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, and then on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Rev. Carl Otto will officiate. Committal services will take place later at Great Lakes National Cemetery, in Holly, Michigan.
