Mueller, Frederick William, Saginaw, Michigan

Frederick W. Mueller went to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at the age of 95 years. Fred was born in Saginaw, Michigan October 8, 1917 the son of the late Emil and Anna (Spitz) Mueller. He lived in Saginaw all his life and was a lifelong member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church. Fred served in the United States Army during World War II and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He married June Oberson September 13, 1947. June predeceased him February 2, 2007 after 59 years of marriage. Fred loved his wife and family and especially enjoyed keeping up on the events in his grandchildren’s lives. He was an avid golfer and played up until 90 years of age. Fred is survived by two sons, Ronald (Tarry) Parker, Auburn and William (Kendra) Mueller, Midland; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a sister, Esther Anderson and several other relatives. The funeral service will take place on Monday, October 29, 2012 at noon at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, Court & Bond Sts. Rev. Carl Otto and Rev. William Brassow will officiate with burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at W. L. Case & Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road, on Sunday from 2:00-6:00 p.m. and at church Monday from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service.
