Misekow, Kenneth J., Saginaw, Michigan

Passed away June 9, 2012, at St. Mary's of Michigan at the age of 69 years. Kenneth was born October 20, 1942, in Saginaw to the late Nicholas and Marie (Banaszek) Misekow. He married Sharon Heins in 1962 and they had two children. He married Bonnie Shappee in 1992. They enjoyed several happy years of marriage until Bonnie became ill. He took care of her until she passed away in 2002. He worked for Malleable Iron for 45 years retiring in 2007. He was a member of UAW Local 455. He enjoyed fishing, coin collecting, and he had a passion for the sunken ships of the Great Lakes and Lighthouses. A way to sum up his life was by his favorite song "Sittin' on the dock of the bay." He was a giving, loving person and he will be missed by his son, Kerey Misekow and his son Derek; his daughter, Kendi (Jay) Baldwin and their sons Karson and Kooper; 3 great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Todd (Ellen) Weinecke and Tricia (Charles) Samsel; step grandchildren, Gavin, Adele, and Grant; siblings, Barbara (Roy) Landskroner and Gerald (Judy) Misekow; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will take place on Friday, July 13, 2012 at noon at W. L. Case & Company, 201 N. Miller Road. Rev. Rob Richards will officiate the service. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society. www.casefuneralhome.com
