McCloskey, Thomas Charles "Tom", Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother went to be with the Lord and other family members on Sunday, August 26, 2012. Age 58 years. Tom was born on September 7, 1953 in Saginaw to the late Joan (Lee) and Laverne McCloskey. He married Marlene Phillips on August 17, 1974; she survives him. He was employed at Sawyer Sales & Service from 1977 until 2008 when his health prevented him from working. Tom was very devoted to his family and loved doing fun things with his grandchildren whom he adored. He also loved watching NASCAR racing and watching WWE wrestling on Monday Nights with his grandson Felisiano and Tom enjoyed hunting and fishing when his health permitted. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Marlene, their daughters whom he loved very much; Tanya, Marcy (Alex Villada) and Angela McCloskey, Seven grandchildren Lasaria (Stinky Butt), Felisiano (Filbert), Maricella and Aricella (Twinks) Chacon, Alex (AJ) and Carmen (Bugaboo) Villada, Kamarriu (Little Big Man) Granberry, his brothers Danny (Annette) McCloskey, Brian (Shelly) McCloskey and sister Sandra (Ben) Snow, sister-in-law Vickie McCloskey; four very special friends; Eddie Artcliff, Georgie Johnson. August Harmon and Tom Phillips Jr. whom are also his brothers-in-law, very special uncle and aunt Larry and Pat McCloskey and several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins and his best friend, companion, his dog, Max. He was predeceased in death by his brothers Frank and Paul McCloskey, nieces Rebecca and Dannette McCloskey and nephew Austin Napier and father-in-law Tom Phillips. Funeral service will take place on Saturday September 1, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the W. L. Case and Company, Funeral Chapel, 409 Adams St. Rev. Benjamin Garcia will officiate with cremation to follow. Friends may call at the funeral chapel on Thursday from noon-9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 3:00-9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from noon until the time of the funeral service.
