Lojek, Harold W., Tawas, MI, Formerly of Saginaw, Michigan


Passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012, in Riverton, New Jersey. Age 82 years. He was born, June 3, 1929 in Saginaw, Michigan the son of the late Frederick and Lula (Sova) Lojek Manley. He was a graduate of Arthur Hill Tech and was employed as Maintenance Foreman for the City of Saginaw, retiring with 35 years of service. He married, Irma Turley, December 9, 1950. She passed away February 3, 2005. He served with the U. S. Army during the Korean War. Harold loved woodworking, hunting, fishing and bowling. Surviving are a daughter, Dawn Lojek, Saginaw, MI; a son, Dennis Lojek and his wife, Susan, Riverton, New Jersey; three grandsons, Christopher, Nicholas, Timothy all of Riverton, NJ. Two sisters have predeceased him. The funeral service will take place on Friday, February 24, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Officiating will be Thomas Peck. Friends may call at the Chapel from 2:00 p.m. Friday until the time of the funeral service. Military burial will take place at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2012 at the Sims-Whitney Cemetery, Au Gres, MI under the auspices of the Tawas Area Honor Guard.
