Leddy, Thomas L., Saginaw, Michigan

Loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away on Monday, September 10, 2012 at the age of 74 years. The son of the late Michael and Harriet (Price) Leddy was born on March 17, 1938 in Saginaw. He married Janet K. Kehoe on August 17, 1957; she survives him. He retired from Grey Iron Foundry after 41 years of service. Thomas was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. He enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers, U of M football and especially loved to spend time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving besides his wife of 55 years, Janet, are their children; Thomas J. (Lynn) Leddy, Michelle Trissler, grandchildren; Jenna (David) Knoblauch, Jacob Trissler, Alyssa and Brooke Leddy, great-grandchildren; Kaitlyn and Isaiah Knoblauch, his brothers Michael (Arvella) Leddy, Edward (Alice) Leddy, many nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers in law and his faithful shih tzu dog, Lucky. Thomas was predeceased by a stepfather, Adolph Weideman, his brothers George, Lawrence, and Herbert Leddy, and sister Elsie Cardinal. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 8765 Ederer Road. Rev. Wade Johnston will officiate with burial at Owen Cemetery. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Road, on Wednesday from 2:00-9:00 p.m. and Thursday at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
