Latham, Connie Marie, Center Line, MI, Formerly of Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend passed away peacefully Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan surrounded by her loved ones. Age 57 years. The daughter of the late James and Bonnie (Hoffman) Latham, Connie was born September 25, 1954 in Saginaw, Michigan. Connie was a longtime employee of The Lakeland Center and an advocate for healthy living. She found enjoyment in everything she did and lived her life to the fullest. Connie was an avid camper, attended rock concerts and loved all things Harley Davidson. She was known for her genuine smile, infectious laugh and feisty nature. Most importantly, Connie was a fiercely loyal friend and had many long-lasting friendships. She was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. Surviving are one brother and one sister, Mark and Vicky Latham, National City; Michele and Steve Dungey, Freeland; a nephew, Hunter Dungey; several aunts including her special aunt, Carmen Pasternak; many cousins and dear friends; she also leaves behind her “kid”, her Shih Tzu, Wiley. Funeral Liturgy will take place on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at noon at St. Stephen Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. James G. Heller will officiate with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. There will be no visiting hours at the funeral home. Friends may call at St. Stephen Catholic Church where the family will be present on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Stephen Catholic Church or the charity of their choice.
