Koeplinger, Marquerite, Saginaw, Michigan

Passed away Saturday, January 14, 2012, at Hoyt Nursing Home & Rehab Center at the age of 98 years. Marquerite Oehring was born April 5, 1913, the daughter of the late Herman F. and Bertha (Schulz) Oehring. She married Floyd Koeplinger on July 5, 1935, and he predeceased her on May 20, 1979. Marquerite was a volunteer with Covenant Health Care knitting newborn baby hats. Marquerite is survived by her son, Ronald D. (Rose) Koeplinger of Saginaw; two grandchildren, Kenneth (Anne) Koeplinger of Lansdale, PA and Ann Schultz of Saginaw; five great-grandchildren, Christopher Schultz, David Koeplinger, Daniel Koeplinger, Megan Koeplinger, and Paige Schultz; many nieces and nephews; and two sisters, Lorraine House of Niles, MI and Lois Rollefstad of Landon, ND. She was predeceased by a grandson Brian Koeplinger, and three brothers, Harris Oehring, Herman Oehring, and Berton Oehring. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the W. L. Case Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Rev. Dr. Robert L. Emrich will officiate with entombment at Oakwood Mausoleum. Friends may call at the Case Chapel on Wednesday from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
