Jennings, Maddie L., Saginaw, Michigan

Passed away peacefully Friday, March 2, 2012. Age 92 years. Maddie was born October 20, 1919 in Osceola, Arkansas to the late Sam and Laura (Simpson) Jennings. She moved to Michigan in her early 20’s. She started working at home and taking care of her younger brothers and sisters at the age of 10. That led her to employment of taking care of people and housekeeping until her retirement 27 years ago. She continued on caring for family members and teaching the bible to everyone she could about a peaceful earth soon to come. She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witness’ in 1958 and continued her mission of declaring the Good News about Jehovah God’s Kingdom to the extent that she could. She will be sadly missed by family and friends, especially her two sisters, June M. Jennings and Bobbie S. Hardy both of Saginaw, MI; her nieces and nephews, Belinda McCray, Carol Rodgers, Subrina Hardy, all of Saginaw; Maxine Davis, Chicago, IL; Myra Taylor, Atlanta, GA; Laura Wilson, Ohio; Darlene Jennings, Nadine Melendez , Gregory Jennings all Grand Rapids, MI; Ruby Baker, Memphis, Bennie Sanders, CA; Velma Mayo, Las Vegas, NV; Stephen Hardy, Atlanta, GA; Winston Allan Hardy, Eddie Isom, Freddie Temple, Jason Moore all of Saginaw, MI; Walter Lawrence Jennings, Darryl Jennings, Joseph McDonald all of Chicago, IL; Lavalle Jennings, Ludington, MI; Larry (Cboy)Isom, Seattle, WA; a host of other relatives. She was predeceased by a sister, Inez Isom, four brothers, Roosevelt Jennings, George Jennings, Walter Jennings, Robert Jennings; her nieces and nephews, Benita C. Anderson, Mert Gwendolyn Delaney, Charles Crittendon Sr, Onetha Hardy, Michael Jennings, Joe Isom, and Burnese Balls. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1203 N. Niagara St., Saginaw, MI. Brother James Brown will officiate.
