Francetic, Thomas, Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away Monday, February 20, 2012 at his home. Age 81 years. Son of the late Anthony and Julia (Marohnic) Francetic, Thomas was born June 17, 1930 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Marion Spindler on May 14, 1955. She survives him. Thomas was employed at Dow Chemical Co. for 35 years. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Thomas enjoyed playing cards, building projects, polka music, dancing and the casinos. Surviving besides his wife Marion are three daughters and their spouses, Ann (Richard) Herm, Diane (Tim) Krzeszewski, all of Saginaw; Susan (Christopher) Trollman, Adams, Tennessee; nine grandchildren, Brian Herm, Chicago, Illinois; Amy (Mark) Santiago, Lafayette , Colorado; Sarah (Joshua) Scott, Saginaw; Michael Krzeszewski, Jacksonville, Florida; David Krzeszewski, Saginaw; Cameo (Jason) Lynn, Adams, Tennessee; Nichole, Melissa and Christin Trollman, Transfer, Pennsylvania; three great-grandchildren, Sawyer and Colton Lynn and Maksim Krzeszewski; his sister, Alice Gorney; four brothers, James ( Cuz) Francetic, Rudy (Florence) Francetic, John (Yvonne) Francetic, Charles (Almeda) Francetic; sisters-in-law, Nancy Francetic, Louise Francetic, Mary (Bill) Sheldon; many nieces and nephews. Thomas was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Anna and George Demeulemester; three brothers, Joseph, William and George Francetic; and a brother-in-law, Clarence Gorney. Funeral Liturgy will take place on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. David Parsch will officiate with entombment Chapel Hill Mausoleum. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road, (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass.
