Fluder, Edith M., Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister passed away Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Covenant HealthCare Cooper. Age 82 years. The daughter of the late Frank and Edith (Schumann) Collins, Edith was born September 4, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois. She married Edward Fluder, her loving husband of 51 years, on July 6, 1961. He survives her. Edith was employed at Addressograph Multigraph in Flint for nearly 20 years. She was then employed at Professional Management for 12 years until her retirement in 1992. Edith was an avid Detroit Tiger fan and loved being with her family. Surviving besides her husband Ed are three sons and their spouses, Edward Scott and Julie Fluder, Saginaw; Thomas and Lisa Fluder, Waterford; Jeffrey and Kimberly Fluder, Saginaw; seven grandchildren, Christy (Robert) Koscielski, Katie Marino, Michael, Lauren, Cameron, McKenna and Madison Fluder; two great-grandchildren, Emma Rhae and Ava Loren Koscielski; two brothers, James and Rosalie Niederstadt, Mt. Morris; Gary and Marilyn Niederstadt, Saginaw; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road (between Shattuck and McCarty). Rev. Fr. Richard Jozwiak will officiate with burial in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home where the family will be present on Monday from 1:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
