Felten, Marguerite (Marge) L., Saginaw, Michigan


Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Thursday, February 16, 2012, at Hoyt Nursing and Rehab Centre. Age 92 years. Marguerite L. Neumann was born on April 27, 1919, in Saginaw, to the late Herman and Anna (Fritz) Neumann. She was married to Frederick H. J. Felten on April 3, 1948, and he predeceased her on April 19, 1974. She was a member of Holy Cross Ev. Lutheran Church and was a lifetime volunteer and served as President of the Woman's Association; she was also an active member of the L.C.F.A. for many years and served as its President. She loved music and cards and traveled to dance for over half a century. Surviving are two sons, one daughter and their spouses, Michael (Michelle) Felten, TN; Larry (Linda) Felten, Saginaw; Elise (William) Gale, Freeland; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Arthur C. Neumann; and also several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, husband and two sisters. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Ev. Lutheran Church, 600 Court St. The Rev. James F. Krueger will officiate with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be given to Holy Cross Ev. Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society.
