Dishaw, David E., Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012, at his home, following a lengthy illness. Age 59 years. He was born February 7, 1953, in Bay City, the son of Elma Lorraine (Herzberg) and the late Leo Arthur Dishaw. He grew up in Bay City, Flint and Gratiot County, and attended Breckenridge High School. He served with the US Army during the Gulf War. He had been employed as a security guard by Teachout Security until retiring due to health. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, the American Legion, and H.O.G. Birch Run. He loved riding his Harley. He married Sherri Lamblin on January 25, 2000; she survives him. He also leaves his mother Elma; step-daughter, Amber and her husband Russell Matt, and their son, Mykael Matt; three sisters, two brothers and their spouses, Kathy and Dan Schatzer, Kenny and Lori Dishaw, Norm Dishaw, Mary Toner, and Janice Dishaw; many nieces, nephews, and their families. Besides his father, Leo, he was predeceased by a sister Patricia. Funeral service will take place on Friday, June 29, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, where his family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. on Friday until the time of service. Rev. Paul Hinz will officiate. Memorial donations may be made to his family’s wishes.
