Czymbor, Ruth Mary, Saginaw, Michigan

Passed away Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Cartwright Care Center, age 87 years. Ruth Kaltenbach was born August 17, 1924 in Saginaw, Michigan the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Seefelder) Kaltenbach. She married Frank A. Czymbor in 1945. He predeceased her April 5, 1988. Ruth served as a 4H Leader and enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family. She was a founding member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, where she taught Religious Ed., sang in the choir, was a member of the Altar Society and the League of Catholic Women. In 1977, she retired to Lupton, Michigan, where she continued her church life at Holy Family Catholic Church in Klacking Creek, Michigan where she also enjoyed membership in St. Anthony’s Guild. She returned to Saginaw in 2008. Ruth is survived by three daughters, Frances (Robert) Sabisch, Long Lake, MI, Joanne (Charles) Stamann, Saginaw and Rita (William) Schramke, Freeland; six grandchildren, Kari Schramke, Jody (Matthew) Morley, Paul Schramke, Lisa (Jeffrey) Whelton, Karen Stamann and Joseph Sabisch; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy (Glenn) Erskine, Hemlock, MI; a brother-in-law, Bernard Czymbor, Grand Blanc, MI. In addition to her husband, Ruth was predeceased by her brother, Edward Kaltenbach; her sister, Elinor Czymbor and several brothers and sisters-in-law. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Road. Rev. Fr. David Parsch will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at W. L. Case & Company, 201 N. Miller Road, on Sunday from 5:00-9:00 p.m.; on Monday from 2:00-9:00 p.m. where they may join the family for a parish vigil service at 7:00 p.m. and on Tuesday at church from 9:00 a.m. until time of the service.
