Campbell, Donald E., Prescott, MI, Formerly of Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved father and grandfather passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012 at St. Anthony Health, Crown Point, Indiana. Age 78 years. The son of the late John and Esther (Gerow) Campbell, Donald was born May 14, 1933 in Saginaw, Michigan. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Donald married Shirley Ann Wade on November 15, 1952. She predeceased him January 15, 2002. Donald retired from General Motors. He was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church, Prescott, Michigan. Surviving are three sons, Donald and Tina Cambell, Crown Point, Indiana; Frederick and Brenda Campbell, Freeland, Michigan; Steven Campbell, Prescott, Michigan; 10 grandchildren, Brigette (Eric) Pack, Ryan Campbell, Natalie (Troy) Stanichuk, Tavey Ziozios, Ian (Teri) Campbell, Jessica (Rick) Dietlin, Breann (Marc) Chapman, Ethan Campbell, Devin Campbell, Liam Campbell; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Lou Waddell; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Joyce (Robert) Coe and John (Marge) Wade; a special friend, Nancy Jaremba; many nieces and nephews. Donald was preceded by three sisters and one brother, Carol Zehnder, Virginia Curran, Elaine Leddy and Robert Campbell. Funeral Liturgy will take place on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Josaphat Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Ronald Dombrowski will officiate with Military Services conducted by V.F.W. Post #1859. A private burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Branch, Michigan. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road, (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Tuesday from 2:00-8:00 p.m. and at St. Josaphat Catholic Church on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass. A Vigil Service will take place at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
