Burton, Louise, Saginaw, Michigan

Passed away early Saturday, January 07, 2012, at Genesys, Grand Blanc, at the age of 87 years. Louise was born July 28, 1924, in Bridgeport, the daughter of the late Arthur and Lillian (Schrage) Schmidt. She married Loyed M. Burton on May 13, 1943; he predeceased her March 24, 1975. She loved to play her bingo. She always put her family first. Surviving are two sons, Steve (Ginger) Burton, Freeland, and George (Pat) Burton, Bay City; a daughter, Linda (Tom) Priest, Saginaw; a step-son, Loyed (Pat) Burton, Gladwin; grandchildren, Steve (Nicole) Burton, Little Rock, AR, Mark Priest, Saginaw, Douglas (Leane) Priest, Hemlock, Michaeljon (Dana) Burton, Saginaw, David (Naomi) Burton, Freeland, Jeremiah (Jessica) Burton, Saginaw, Heather (Justin) Aguirre, Freeland; ten great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, including special nieces, Rosie Aguilar and Mary (Manuel) Guzman. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Bonnie Jean Burton; three sisters and one brother, Erma Schroeder, Helen Ortiz, Nancy Rupp and Arthur Schmidt; and a special nephew, Chris Ortiz. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, where her family will receive friends from 3:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday, and then on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
