Breidenbach, Dorothy J., Saginaw, Michigan

Loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012 at St. Marys of Michigan Hospital. Age 73 years. Daughter of the late John and Jane (Szewc) Kruska, Dorothy was born October 20, 1938 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was married to Emil W. Breidenbach Jr. on September 8, 1962. He survives her. Dorothy was employed at Michigan National Bank for many years. She was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church and its funeral luncheon committee. Dorothy enjoyed gardening and was very involved with her grandchildren’s activities. Surviving besides her husband Emil are two daughters and one son, Janice (Craig) Roedel, Hartland, Michigan; Michael (Virginia) Breidenbach, Duluth, Minnesota; Linda Rivera, Saginaw; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Robert (Sally) Kruska, Frankenmuth; Leonard (Carole) Kruska, Thomas Township; a brother-in-law, Tom Haley, Saginaw; several nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her sister, Elaine Haley. Funeral Liturgy will take place on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Helen Catholic Church with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road, (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Tuesday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday at St. Helen Catholic Church from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. A Vigil Service will take place at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
