Bolger, Frederick R. “Skip”, Saginaw, Michigan

Passed away Monday, June 25, 2012 at McLaren-Bay Region, age 69 years. Skip was born in Menominee, Michigan June 15, 1943 the son of the late Frederick G. and Ellen Irene (Follick) Bolger. He worked for General Motors for 35 years, retiring as a Journeyman Electrician from the Grey Iron Foundry. Skip loved boating and fishing with his new pontoon boat and going up to Tawas to walk the pier. He also loved “razzing” his sisters. Skip is survived by his son, Frederick W. (Diane) Bolger; his daughter, Christina L. (Steve) Casey; five grandchildren, Frederick J. and Paul Bolger; Jennifer, Nathan and Jacob Casey. He also has another grandchild on the way; two sisters, Sally Bush and Ellen Burns; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his former wife, Karen (Wolfgram) Bolger; a grandson, Charlie Bolger; two sisters, Leah Meredith and Betty Newbold. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at W. L. Case & Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Rev. Fr. Randy Kelly will officiate. Friends may visit with the family at the chapel Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and from 1:00 p.m. until time of the service.
