Benton, Theanna R., Saginaw, Michigan

We were deeply saddened by the loss of Theanna Rose Benton on May 26, 2012, following her battle with cancer. At the same time we bow our heads in thankfulness that she is free from her suffering. She was one of the strongest yet kindest persons we have ever known. Theanna remained full of life and devoted to her family in spite of her illness. Her courage in the face of adversity was an inspiration to all who knew her. She showed us “what counts is not necessarily the size of the dog in the fight – it’s the size of the fight in the dog.” She will be greatly missed. Theanna Rose Benton was born May 8, 1944 in Midland Michigan. She married Roy W. Benton on July 31, 1993 in Saginaw, MI. She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, Roy W. Benton, two daughters, Rhonda and Brenda, one son Rod, 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, three sisters, and a host of friends. Theanna, we will always miss you. But we have so many wonderful memories to hang on to. You were a wife, mother, grandmother, and a friend to us all. Your guidance and love will carry us through to the end of our days. All our love to you Theanna, until we meet again. Arrangements made with Cremation Society of Mid-Michigan.
