Roggow, Mary Kay, Hemlock, Michigan

Mary surrounded by her cherished family and friends passed away Tuesday evening November 15, 2011 at MidMichigan Regional Medical Center, after her courageous battle with cancer, age 68. Daughter of the late Henry and Eleanor (Borucki) DeBeau, she was born January 16, 1943 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Kenneth C. Roggow September 3, 1966 in Merrill. Her husband of 45 years survives her. Mary’s spirit will remain and be present with the things she enjoyed most; shopping with her daughters, holiday celebrations, annual family vacations and trying her luck at the casino. She retired from Hemlock Public Schools with over 20 years of service. Mary was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Hemlock. She leaves her loving husband Ken and two daughters; Katherine (Mark) Klopfenstein, Jennifer Roggow and two special grandsons; Nathan and Connor Klopfenstein, one brother; Bernard (Mary) DeBeau, several nieces, nephews and good friends. She was predeceased by her sister; Dorothy DeShone. Funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Hemlock. Fr. Richard Jozwiak will officiate with burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Merrill. Family and friends may visit on Friday, November 18, 2011 from 3:00-9:00 p.m., W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Road, where a vigil service will take place at 7:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral liturgy.
