Robinson, Kathryn, Saginaw Township, Michigan

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother passed away Friday, August 5, 2011 at her home. Age 76 years. Daughter of the late Otto and Gertrude (Kipfmiller) Hemmeter, Kathryn was born on January 6, 1935 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Harry Robinson, her loving husband of 58 years, on September 5, 1953. He survives her. Kathryn enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning, writing and especially politics. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Surviving besides her husband Harry are two daughters and three sons, Dawn (Marty) States, Saginaw; Harry (Carol) Robinson, Deerfield Beach, Florida; Philip (Cynthia) Robinson, Freeland; Stephen (Jacqueline) Robinson, Plymouth; Kelly (Terry) Mohn; fourteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Janet Baldauf and Elaine Sims; and a brother, George Hemmeter, all of Saginaw. Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Pastor Mark Buckert will officiate with interment to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road, (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
