Riselay, Maurice George, Saginaw, Michigan

Passed away Monday July 11, 2011 at Caretel Inn of Tri-cities. Age 86 years. The son of the late Eva Frances (Peters) and Charles E. Riselay was born, June 4, 1925 in Saginaw, Michigan. He served with the U.S. Army during WWII and was a member of American Legion Post #439, V.F.W. Post #1566 and the D.A.V. He was employed by Baker Perkin’s retiring with 42 years of service. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and enjoyed fishing. Surviving are seven children and their spouses, Maurice D. Riselay, Saginaw, MI; Barbara A. and Albert Wotchko, Prudenville, MI; Diane E. and Galen Turner, Coleman, MI; Debbie and Cliff Porter, Lupton, MI; Duane G. Riselay, Saginaw, MI; Mary and Clarence Richard; Mark and Kathy Riselay, all of Freeland, MI; seventeen grandchildren, three step-grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren, two step-great grandchildren; a brother, two sisters and their spouses, David C. Riselay; Betty Meisel; Joy and Frank Kartz, all of Saginaw, MI; a sister-in-law, Viola Riselay, Wisconsin; several nieces and nephews. A daughter-in-law, Susan Riselay, two brothers, four sisters, Harold and Charles W. Riselay, Arlene Maynard, Pearl Cradit, Ruth Thomas and Shirley Pignateli have predeceased him. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 121 S. Harrison, Saginaw, MI. Dr. Robert L. Emrich will officiate with Military burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery under the Auspices of American Legion Post #439. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 409 Adams St., from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday and then on Thursday at the Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
