Ribble, Evelyn T., Saginaw, Michigan


Passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2011, at the age of 84 years. Evelyn was born October 12, 1926, in Saginaw, Michigan the daughter of the late Augustine and Susanna (Turek) Klement. Evelyn was graduate of Arthur Hill High School. She married Arthur R. Ribble June 25, 1948, he predeceased her May 9, 2006. She was Past Director of the Quota Club Showboat, and had a longtime involvement with Pit and Balcony Playhouse, the Serendipity Club, and she was involved with Knights Templar Activities. When she was fit she enjoyed bowling, BINGO and playing cards. She had been employed by Saginaw Plating and Tri City Material and Handling. She is survived by two children, Walter (Colleen) Ribble and Randi Ribble both of Saginaw; two grandchildren, Walter Rayce Ribble and Mason Phillip Ribble; siblings, Augie (Ruth) Klement, Earl (Barbara) Klement, Ethel Piechotte; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Frank, George, and Lillian. The family would like to thank Shattuck Manor and Southern Care Hospice for the wonderful care they gave to Evelyn. Funeral services will take place on Saturday July 23, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at W. L. Case & Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Evelyn’s Brother Rev. Earl Klement will officiate with entombment to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Friday 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
