Peters, Annette Olga (Nagel), Paradise, MI, Formerly of Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved wife, mom, grandma, daughter, sister and aunt, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2011, at St. Mary’s of Michigan. Age 70 years. Annette Olga Nagel was born December 21, 1940, in Saginaw, the daughter of Olga (Zednicek) Nagel and the late Paul G. Nagel. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School with the Class of 1959. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Saginaw. She married Ronald John Peters on April 30, 1960; he survives her. She drove school bus for Swan Valley Schools for 23 years, retiring in 1997. Mr. and Mrs. Peters retired to Paradise, Michigan, where she was a member of the Paradise Lutheran Church, the Senior Citizens Club, and served on the board of the Blueberry Festival. She enjoyed playing cards, travelling, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Surviving are her husband, Ronald J. Peters; two sons and one daughter, Scott Peters, Belleville, Michigan; Craig (Cheryl) Peters, Standish, Michigan; Lori (Russ) Clark, Saginaw, Michigan; seven grandchildren, Thomas and Joshua, Matthew and Jason, Paul, Kasey and Hallie; her mother, Olga Nagel, Florida; one brother, Michael (Colette) Nagel, Saginaw; one brother-in-law, John C. Peters, Arizona; several nieces, nephews and their families. Memorial services will take place on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 1209 Hancock St., Saginaw, where her family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of service. Pastor Susan Hand will officiate. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider Zion Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society.
