Newton, Dean Allen, Hemlock, Michigan

Passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at his home, age 58 years. Dean was born in Saginaw, Michigan December 27, 1952, the son of Roy Newton and the late Alice (Pretzer) Newton. He married Beverly Nolan September 13, 1971 and she survives him. He was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Hemlock. Dean worked for Cicinelli and Sons for over twenty years. He was the current President of the Saginaw County AG Society. Dean served as a 4-H leader for many years. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing and hunting. He loved playing with his grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Dean is survived by four children, Teresa (Paul) Kayden, Lori Newton, Valerie Newton and Billy (Juanita) Newton; five grandchildren, Alexander and Helena Newton, Jonathan and Gary Kayden and Shana Newton; his father, Roy Newton; a sister, Karen Pringle; two brothers, Clifford Newton and Robert (Lori) Newton; two sisters-in-law, Carol Nolan and Linda Jackson; a brother-in-law, Mike Nolan, several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. In addition to his mother, Dean was predeceased by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ken and Mary Lou Nolan and his brother-in-law, Paul Pringle. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St Peter Lutheran Church, 2461 N. Raucholz Road. Rev. Martin Hagenow will officiate with burial in Richland Township Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 2:00 9:00 p.m. at W. L. Case & Company, 201 N. Miller Road, and at church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service.
