Morgan, Bonnie Lou, Saginaw, Michigan

Passed away Friday, December 30, 2011, at the Cartwright Care Residence.  Age 78 years.  The daughter of the late Oswald M. and Blanche (Boyer) Esler was born March 26, 1933 in Saginaw.  She was a graduate of Saginaw High School, Class of 1951.  Bonnie married Donovan E. Morgan, November 10, 1951. He survives her.  She was employed by Lufkin Rule and retired from Giant Foods (Ray’s Food Fair) with 25 years of service.  She was a member of Second Presbyterian Church and sang in the choir. She played Table Top Shuffle Board and was a state champion and member of the Michigan Table Top Shuffleboard Hall of Fame. Bonnie enjoyed traveling, playing cards, family picnics, but most of all she loved her grandchildren and their activities.  Surviving besides her husband, Donovan, are two children and their spouses, Michael and Maxey Morgan;  Penny Sue and John (Jack) McLaren, all of Saginaw, MI;  three grandchildren, Dustyn Morgan, Whitney Morgan and Morgan Sue McLaren; two sisters, one brother and their spouses, Janet and Arthur McIntyre, Bridgeport, MI; Gary and Marie Esler, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL; Linda and David Mitchell, Saginaw, MI; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Roy and Marie Loiselle; Wayne and Sharon Morgan; Virginia Morgan; many nieces, nephews, and her special friend, Donna Fobear.  She was also predeceased by a brother-in-law, John Morgan.  The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Second Presbyterian Church, 2665 Midland Road, Saginaw, MI. Rev. James Neumann will officiate with burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, from 2:00-5:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Monday and then at the church from 10:00 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the funeral service.
