Miller, Floyd M., Merrill, Michigan

Beloved husband, father, son and friend passed away Sunday December 4, 2011 at home at the age of 50 years. Floyd was born October 2, 1961 in Kirkwood, Missouri, the son of Charles and Dorothy Miller. He married Beth Monasmith, June 30, 2009. She survives him. He was employed by Cummins-Bridgeway for 23 years. He was an avid sports fan, enjoying NASCAR, baseball and football. Floyd was an avid Michigan football fan, Detroit Lions and Tigers and wore his hats proudly during the games. He loved to golf. Floyd was proud of his 1967 Ford pick-up he restored with a Cummins engine. Surviving besides his wife, Beth, and parents, Charles and Dorothy, are two children, Hollie Gaby and her husband, Chad, Flushing, MI; Jordan Miller, Saginaw, MI; two step-children, Andrew Wenzel and Justine Wenzel, both of Midland; two brothers and one sister and their spouses, Russell and Debra Miller, Clio, MI; David and Elizabeth Miller, MO; Lana and Wayne Shrock, FL; his father-in-law Bill Monasmith, Alpena; two sister-in-laws Sue and Jerry Zeckmeister, Midland; and Amy and Troy Bohmann, WI; several nieces and nephews and many good friends. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday December 7, 2011 at noon at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel in Merrill, MI. Rev. Rob Richards will officiate. Friends may call at the Chapel from 2:00-9:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service Wednesday.
