McIntyre, Suzanne C., Linwood, MI, Formerly of Saginaw, Michigan

Passed away Saturday July 30, 2011 at Covenant Cooper at the age of 88 years. Suzanne was born January 19, 1923 in Saginaw, the daughter of the late Arthur and Linda (Meyer) Carle. She graduated from Saginaw High School in 1941 and then worked at Michigan Bell from 1941 to 1953. She married Bernard McIntyre August 24, 1946 he predeceased her October 14, 1998, two years after celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. In earlier years, she was active in Junior Women’s Club; later she and her husband were active in the Germania Town & Country Club of Saginaw. She was a charter member of the Hutchinson Island, Florida Women’s Bridge Marathon (where she spent her winters). She leaves a daughter and son-in-law, Lindsay and Dr. Michael Learman, Linwood; a son, Scott McIntyre of Bay City; also the loves of her life, granddaughters, Sydney and Cameron Learman, Linwood. She was predeceased by her brother, Wallace Carle and her brothers-in-law and sister-in-laws, Doris and Roland McIntyre, June McIntyre, Lavonne McIntyre, and Agnes and Leon LaRocque. She is also survived by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Shirley McIntyre; Roderick McIntyre; Dr. Floyd and Polly McIntyre; Lloyd McIntyre; many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Rev. Michael Hahn will officiate with entombment to follow in Oakwood Mausoleum. Friends may call at the chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
