Loth, Donald J., Bridgeport, Michigan

Passed away Friday, January 28, 2011, at his home. Age 85 years. The son of the late Walter and Elenor (Courtney) Loth was born November 8, 1925 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Norma J. Jarvis, October 28, 1950. His wife of 60 years survives him. He served with the U.S. Marine Corp. in the South Pacific, during WWII. He was employed by General Motors, Grey Iron Foundry, retiring in 1980 with thirty years of service. He was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church and enjoyed refinishing furniture, fishing, lawn work, crossword puzzles and his computer. Surviving besides his wife, Norma, are two daughters and a son-in-law, Dawn and Donald Webb; Christina Tuzas; five grandchildren, Michelle; Carrie; Jeff and his wife, Heather; Jenny and Angie; seven great grandchildren, Candice; A.J.; Christopher; Angel; Hunter; MacKenzie and Kayley; a sister, a brother and his wife, Kathryn Butler; Walter (Bill) and Corrine Loth; several nieces and nephews. A sister, Barb Loth, has predeceased him. The funeral liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 1, 2011, at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 3945 Williamson Road, Saginaw. Rev. John Mancini O.S.F.S. will officiate with Military entombment in Roselawn Memorial Mausoleum under the auspices of V.F.W. Post # 1859. Friends may call at the W.L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Highway, from 2:00-9:00 p.m. Monday and then at the church from 10:00 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the funeral liturgy.
