Kollman, Maud M., Saginaw, Michigan


Loving mother and grandmother passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at St. Mary’s of Michigan Medical Center after a six year battle with breast cancer. Age 65 years. Daughter of the late Henry and Catherine (Dier) Lindstrom, Maud was born January 27, 1946 in St. Johns, Newfoundland. She was married to Kenneth K. Kollman on June 13, 1964. He predeceased her in 2006. Maud was in the U.S. Navy Reserve for 20 years and then worked in food service management. She attended Grace Lutheran Church and the Old Town Christian Outreach Center. Maud was a member of the Moose Lodge #82, the Eagles Erie #497 and the Pulaski Club. She enjoyed playing Euchre and attending the Casino. Surviving are one daughter and two sons, Katherine and David Langham, Kenneth Kollman Jr., Henry J. Kollman and his fiancé, Kate Kolb; four grandchildren, Christopher and Callen Langham, Samantha Langham, Joshua Kollman and Brittany Kollman; two great-grandchildren; her special friend, Ward Glasser; three sisters and three brothers; several nieces and nephews. Maud was predeceased by two brothers. Honoring Mrs. Kollman’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Maud’s Life will take place on Sunday, July 3, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. at The Moose Family Center #82, 2218 Midland Road, Saginaw.
