Kennedy, Sarah Ann (Sally), Hemlock, Michigan


Passed away Sunday, November 13, 2011, at Covenant- Harrison. Age 80 years. The daughter of Aldro and Eleanor (Wearing) Jackson was born May 29, 1931 in Walworth County, Wisconsin. She married Kenneth J. Kennedy, October 6, 1973. He survives her. She was employed as a Medical Receptionist for Dr. Tuttle, retiring in 1986 with over 20 years of service. She was an active member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Hemlock, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister, volunteering to take Communion to parishioners in the hospital. She enjoyed gardening, her flowers and especially spending time with her family. Surviving besides her husband, Kenneth, are three sons, a step daughter and stepson and their spouses, Robert Dean Parson Jr. and his wife, Maureen; Timothy Jay Parson; Paul Kevin Parson and his wife, Linda; Victor Lynn Kennedy; Karen E. Siver; eleven grandchildren, Meryl Hayes and her husband, Dan; Kristine Parson; Jeffery Parson; Kevin Parson, Allyson Parson; Ted Parson and his wife, Laura; Mark Parson; Kallee Parson; Dan Kennedy and his wife, Shawna; Michelle Kennedy; Kelli J. Quick; 6 great grandchildren; one brother, one sister and their spouses, Lawrence and Beverly Jackson; Barbara and Mathew Williams; several nieces and nephews. A sister and four brothers have predeceased her. The funeral liturgy will take place on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Hemlock. Rev. Steven Gavit will officiate with burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Road, from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday where a parish vigil service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friends may then call at the Church from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the funeral liturgy.
