Hebl, Richard D., Saginaw, Michigan


Beloved father, brother and uncle passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at his home surrounded by his family. Age 71 years. Son of the late Frank and Arletta (Korbein) Hebl, Richard was born July 19, 1939 in Saginaw, Michigan. He was employed at Delphi Steering Gear for 37 years retiring in 1995. Richard was also a ranger at The Sawmill. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Richard was an avid sports enthusiast, enjoyed the Spirit Hockey Games and loved to bowl. Surviving are one son, one daughter and their spouses, Nathaniel and Melissa Hebl, Amy and Mark Miller; a loving grandchild on the way; four sisters and two brothers, Kristine and Chuck Schuch, Kate and Len Schlueter, Robert Hebl, Dave and Pam Hebl, Thomas Hebl, Jerry and Caroline Hebl; his goddaughter, Marcie Kolhagen; his godson, Randy Hebl; several nieces and nephews. Richard was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother, Lois Hebl, JoAnn Mersdorf, Barbara Helpap and Donald Hebl. A special thanks to Kristine and Chuck Schuch for the love and care they had given to Dick while at their home. Funeral Service will take place on Friday, April 1, 2011 at noon at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1020 Court St., Saginaw. Pastor Carl Otto will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road, (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday at St. Paul Lutheran Church from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
