Hatheway, Evelyn G., Saginaw, Michigan

Passed away Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Magnum Care. Age 79 years. The daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Fuller) Howard, Evelyn was born September 25, 1932 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Evelyn was employed as a judicial secretary at the Saginaw County Courthouse for the Honorable Eugene Huff and the Honorable Robert Gilbert. She served for 31 years until her retirement. She volunteered her time at Covenant Medical Center. Evelyn enjoyed going to the ca$ino, participating in bus tours with friends and traveling. Most of all, Evelyn loved spending time with her family.  Surviving are one daughter, Pamela Hubbell and her husband Richard, Belleville, Michigan; one son, Michael Hatheway, Saginaw; a daughter-in-law, Darlene Hatheway, Saginaw; nine grandchildren, Denielle Hubbell, Beth (Chad) Van Dalen, Allan Hubbell, Whitney and Kevin Hatheway, Ben, Amanda, Derek and Ashley Hatheway; three great-grandchildren, Kristopher, Shannon and Addy; one sister, Kathy Princinsky, Saginaw; a special sister-in-law, Marge Howard, Vassar; several nieces and nephews. Evelyn was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Hatheway, and by three brothers and two sisters, John, Robert andJames Howard, Shirley Holsinger and Betty Czolgosz.  Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place on Monday, January 2, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 2711 Mackinaw St. in Saginaw.  Mrs. Sharon Wahl will officiate. Friends may call at St. Stephen Catholic Church where the family will be present on Monday from 10:30 a.m. until time of service.
