Gillig-Stone, Cynthia Jean (Dubay), Post Falls, ID, Formerly of Saginaw, Michigan


Loving mother passed away Saturday, May 21, 2011 due to injuries received in an auto accident. Age 56 years. Daughter of Sylvia (Pluta) Dubay and the late Harold (Jim) Dubay, Cynthia was born May 29, 1954 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was involved in beauty pageants during her high school years. Cynthia was a 1976 graduate of Michigan State University. She was married to James C. Stone. Cynthia was a self-employed web page designer. She was a member of the Catholic Faith. Cynthia enjoyed traveling, gardening, sewing, all animals and especially enjoyed riding her horse, Fire. Surviving are one son and one daughter, Bruce Gillig Jr. and Ashley Gillig and her loving friend, Daniel Foster: their father, Bruce Gillig Sr.; Cynthia’s mother, Sylvia Dubay; one sister Denise Perryman and her fiancé, Jay Macha; two brothers, Robert (Patricia) Dubay, Timothy Dubay; her god mother, Dorothy Pomeleau; several nieces and nephews. Cynthia was preceded in death by her grandparents and her niece, Katy Dubay. Funeral Liturgy will take place on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Randy Kelly will officiate with entombment in Roselawn Memorial Mausoleum. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road, (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Friday from 2:00 p .m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass. A Vigil Service will take place at 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
