Frank, Byatha E., Saginaw, Michigan

Passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at Hoyt Nursing Home after a short illness. Age 93 years. Byatha Edna Rice was born February 18, 1918 in Saginaw, Michigan, the daughter of the late Edward and Lela (Halliday) Rice. She married Clarence W. Frank, August 29, 1937, in Saginaw. They had owned the A.W. Frank Co. and she retired from the State of Michigan. Clarence passed away in 2001. She was a member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, Court and Bond Sts. Surviving are three children and their spouses, Albert and Teresa Frank, Cooper City, FL; Sandra and Paul Cheney, Trout Lake, MI; Donald and Nancy Frank, Haslett, MI; six grandchildren, Laura (Jeff) Holstege; Todd ( Michele) Cheney; Frank (Angie) Cheney; Derek Frank, Desha Frank and Michelle Frank; seven great grandchildren, Trenton and Graham Holstege; Madison and Bryce Cheney; India, Max and Sidney Cheney; a sister-in-law, Hilda Mueller, Zephyrhills, FL; a sister-in-law, Jeanne Rice, Ann Arbor, MI; many nieces, nephews and friends. She will always be remembered for her unconditional love and caring for her family. The funeral service will take place on Monday, July 25, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, Court and Bond Sts. Rev. Carl Otto will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday and then on Monday at the church from 10:00 a.m. Monday until the time of the funeral service.
