Fowler, Carol Joyce, Bridgeport, Michigan

Passed away Sunday, May 1, 2011, at Frankenmuth Lutheran Home. Age 76 years. The daughter of the late Elmo and Anna (Pohlman) Tuck was born September 7, 1934 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Russell Frank Fowler Jr., September 13, 1952. He survives her. She was employed by the Bridgeport School District as a Bus Driver, retiring with about 10 years of service. She was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church and the Humane Society of Saginaw County. She enjoyed her Quarter and Appaloosa Horses. Surviving besides her husband, Russell, are six children and their spouses, Linda Fowler, Omer, MI; Dan Fowler, Bay City, MI; Michele and Steve Brechtelsbauer, Troy, MI; Rejo and Craig Walter, Bad Axe, MI; Neta and Larry Moll II, Saginaw, MI; Mike and Michelle Fowler, Midland, MI; eleven grandchildren and their spouses, Scott and Rachel; Jamie, Casie, Erin, Michaella and John; Ryan, Carly, Stephanie and Mike; Larry III, Sarah and Jeff; Becca; five great grandchildren, Anthony, Randon, Tyler, Riley and Ethan; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Robert Fowler; Betty and Jim Mott; Arthur Fowler; Edward Fowler; Carol and Bill Trudell; several nieces and nephews. A son, Jay Fowler, and a granddaughter, Felecia Fowler, have predeceased her. The funeral liturgy will take place on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 3945 Williamson Road. Rev. John Mancini O.S.F.S. will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Highway, from 1:00-9:00 p.m. Wednesday where a vigil service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friends may then call at the Church from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until the time of the funeral liturgy. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider St. Christopher Catholic Church or the Alzheimer’s Association.
