Dubay, James W., Saginaw, Michigan


Beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at St. Mary’s of Michigan Hospital. Age 70 years. Son of the late Sylvester and Mary ( Heintz) Dubay, James was born July 7, 1941 in Saginaw, Michigan. He served in the Army National Guard. James married Vera L. Sims on February 27, 1965. She survives him. He was employed at Malleable Iron for 30 years. James was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church. He coached little league baseball and enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling. Surviving besides his wife Vera are one daughter and one son, Catherine L. and John Fawley, Washington State; James W. Dubay, Jr., Saginaw; two grandchildren, Peter S. and Elizabeth Fawley; two brothers and one sister, Ronald and Diane L. Dubay, Freeland; David and Darlene Dubay, Freeland; Marianne Varacka, Saginaw; several nieces, nephews and special friends especially Skip Zolton. Funeral Liturgy will take place on Monday, December 19, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Helen Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Ronald Wagner will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road, (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday at St. Helen Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass.
