Bordeaux, James T., Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved husband, grandpa, brother and uncle passed away Monday, May 30, 2011 at The Cartwright Hospice Residence. Age 64 years. Son of the late Robert and Dorothy (Wellman) Bordeaux, James was born March 5, 1947 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Rhoda Hendricks on August 27, 1994. She survives him. James was a member of Local #47 International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers. He was also a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council #8808. James was excellent athlete in high school, was an avid sportsman, loved boating and fishing. He especially loved his Spartans and was a practical jokester. Surviving besides his loving wife Rhoda are his brother, Robert (Bob) Bordeaux, his sisters, Jackie Schaefer –Bordeaux and Renee Klenow; two sons, Daniel Snyder and his wife Minnie and Lawrence Snyder and his wife Roseann ; six grandchildren, Preston, Ashton, Skyla, Miklaya, Alayna and Layla; many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. James was preceded in death by his brother Lary Bordeaux. Funeral Liturgy will take place on Friday, June 3, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. David L. Parsch will officiate. Honoring Mr. Bordeaux’s wishes cremation will follow. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road, (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at Holy Spirit Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass. A Vigil Service will take place at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to The Cartwright Hospice Residence or Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
